Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, as well as familiarity with warehouse management systems.
This is a third shift position (9pm-7am). Weekends are required!
Duties:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely within the warehouse.
- Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipping logs, and order statuses.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is required.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
