JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Data Specialist will complete a wide range of quantitative and qualitative reporting and analyses needed to provide business insight and identify trends / patterns.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Build reports in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Generate and manage dashboards and reporting.
- Research data from other resources as needed to utilize for comparisons and to assist in goal setting.
- Create, track, and report on key performance metrics.
- Consult with organizational stakeholders to determine data needs to provide insight.
- Effectively compile and communicate findings to leadership or stakeholders.
- Ability to use excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to be adaptable, open to change, and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.
- Uphold company mission and vision through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Aptitude to read, understand, create, and communicate data as information.
- Support and comply with the organization's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Work independently, solving problems within the purview of their authority.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality laws as appropriate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science / MIS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
RELATIONSHIP REPORTING
Reports to the Business Intelligence Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit, stand, and or walk for extended periods of time.
