Our client is a growing financial services company that specializes in providing comprehensive financial planning for high net worth private and corporate
clients. Due to a retirement, they're hiring a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining corporate and personal financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, generating financial reports, administering payroll and benefits, and ensuring accounting compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Track, categorize, and pay company expenses
Itemize corporate and personal credit card bills
Create company invoices
Keep company financial records in good order, including P&L balance sheets
Monthly recording of bank deposits, activity, and reconciliation
Coordinate with external accounting firm
Assist with budgeting, accounting, and reporting
Administer payroll and benefits, including 401(k)
Experience / Skills Required :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar
5 or more years of experience in a similar role, having accounting experience and and Benefits / Payroll administration
Expert level experience with QuickBooks Online
Familiarity with account reconciliation procedures
Experience administering payroll and benefits
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
Ambitious with a sense of urgency and initiative.
Proactive with the ability to bring ideas to the table
Desired Experience :
Prior experience with Salesforce
Prior experience with acquisitions and acquisition accounting
Prior experience with commissioned accounting
Prior experience in a similar business (financial services, insurance, other business services)
Knowledge of EOS
