As a sales representative for True North Equipment, you will be responsible for representing the company in the sale of Turf and CCE products to customers in the Grafton sales area. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing them with the best solutions from our product lineup.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in the sale of Turf and CCE products to customers in the Grafton sales area.
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
- Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management.
- Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
- Knows and follows a defined sales process.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Conducts equipment field demonstrations as needed.
- Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
- Maintain a safe working environment and always adheres to company safety program/policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Specializes in Riding Lawn Equipment, Small Tractors, and Compact Construction Equipment.
Requirements:
- Sales experience preferred.
- John Deere Equipment knowledge preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications and other organization specific programs.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Good attitude and drive to succeed required.
