Plumbing Manager

Position Summary

The Plumbing Manager is a self-motivated individual who will lead, maintain, and continue to grow the division. They will manage a dedicated team and help them to deliver great service to customers! We are looking for a professional who can do it all - sales, service, installs, operations, and management. This is NOT a desk job! Our team services, installs, and maintains both residential and commercial projects with efficiency and attention to detail. Positive attitude is a MUST!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the growth and development of our growing Plumbing & AC division
• Manage a team of 10 Field Technicians, and growing
• Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
• Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information
• For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete the day
• Document work performed in accordance with company procedure
• Provide guidance and share knowledge with assistants, apprentices, and technicians
• Training and motivating Field Technicians
• Traveling to customer sites to evaluate Field Technicians and job completion
• Assist with installs, complete daily service calls, complete or review estimates, and ordering of all equipment
• Track change orders for ongoing jobs
• Maintain all field rules and regulations to adhere to safety requirements
• Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
• Maintain current knowledge of codes and standards
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
• Refer all other work outside of Plumbing & AC back to the office, for the office to coordinate between other True divisions.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor
• Drive a box truck and ensure that it is properly maintained and stocked

Minimum Job Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of Plumbing & AC experience
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on supervisory/management experience
• Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and leadership skills
• Ability to seek assistance when required
• Must be able to prioritize and move projects forward in a timely manner
• A thorough understanding of labor/material costs
• Permitting knowledge
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Monitor jobs and progress from beginning to end with excellent followup and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, ethical, respectful, and independent thinking
• Ability to work synergistically with crew member(s), also independently and accurately
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Must be able to navigate construction sites by walking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting, and balancing.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Experience:

• Supervisory or Management: 1 year (Required)
• Residential Plumbing: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License and Clean Driving Record (Required)

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
