Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and handling routine facility upkeep to maintain a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate has general building maintenance experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Previous facility maintenance or building repair experience preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, measurements, and basic repair techniques.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong teamwork skills, dependability, and a positive attitude.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on property equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems as needed.
- Perform general facility repairs, including painting, door and furniture fixes, lightbulb replacements, and minor plumbing work.
- Maintain and update maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.
- Ensure the property meets safety regulations and OSHA compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair televisions, safes, and electronic systems as necessary.
- Utilize hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, and lift heavy objects as required.
- Assist with facility-wide improvement projects assigned by management.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Salary : $20 - $22
