We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Hotel Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization efforts, ensure profitability, and drive operational efficiency for a luxury property. This role requires expertise in budget planning, cost control, and profitability modeling, along with the ability to design and implement revenue strategies that optimize RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) and ADR (Average Daily Rate). The ideal candidate will also serve as a key leader in managing revenue management systems and PMS platforms, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional financial performance.
Qualifications :
2 years’ experience in hospitality revenue management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
Expertise in luxury hotel operations and a strong understanding of guest-focused strategies.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data modeling, and reporting).
Familiarity with IDeaS Revenue Management, Delphi, SynXis, and PMS platforms is essential.
Strong knowledge of system setup, configuration, and optimization.
Analytical mindset with a proven ability to evaluate trends and create actionable strategies.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while solving complex problems effectively.
Essential Duties :
Revenue Management Initiatives :
Act as the primary contact for IDeaS Revenue Management software and oversee the functionality of the property’s PMS systems.
Develop and implement revenue forecasting models, leveraging dynamic pricing and market segmentation to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Monitor group and transient business thresholds within the forecast window to ensure measurable improvements in demand and availability.
Analyze citywide events and past trends to make strategic recommendations in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Execute rate structure analysis and manage day-to-day rate adjustments to ensure consistency across distribution channels.
Lead channel optimization to enhance profitability and streamline distribution strategies.
Oversee inventory management and maintain rate parity across platforms.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight :
Oversee budget planning, ensuring resource allocation aligns with financial goals.
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights for operating expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx).
Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) oversight, including gross operating profit (GOP) and net operating income (NOI) evaluations.
Create and maintain detailed Excel-based financial reports for tracking key revenue metrics and outlet financial performance.
Perform monthly reconciliation of third-party bookings and travel partner commissions.
Operational Excellence :
Ensure effective setup and configuration of systems, including Delphi, SynXis, and other revenue or property management tools.
Quickly adapt to and implement new software to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication regarding packages, room rates, and guest inquiries.
Identify opportunities for expense reduction and profitability enhancements across departments.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
