Job Title: Junior Account Manager
The Junior Account Manager supports and assists in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include assisting and supporting Account Managers with understanding customers’ unique purchasing needs, managing day-to-day requests, and driving used serviceable material (USM) sales to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Success in this role requires a combination of business acumen, relationship management expertise, and an understanding of the aviation industry.
This position works closely with Account Managers, Business Development, and Sales Support teams to ensure that all materials sales transactions are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers with strategic accounts and build strong relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Assist Account Managers with fielding incoming requests for quotation.
- Develop a deep understanding of existing clients' business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Assist Account Managers and Business Development peers with identifying proactive opportunities to add value for key customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Account Managers, Business Development, Sales Support, Product Line, Repairs, and Warehouse , to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events.
- Process sales orders
- Oversee shipments.
- Resolve common transaction errors
- Obtain shipping instructions, weights & dims
- Gather and update customer preferences
- Maintain high energy, a cooperative and positive attitude, and a great sense of humor
- Other tasks and projects as directed by management
