Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Strong ability to work with and understand point clouds, either by creating model geometry from Point Clouds and/or verifying models compared to Point Clouds.
• Create and review project specific BIM Execution plans
• Lead the BIM Coordination Management Process
• Establish standard BIM coordination processes and templates
• Able to assess the accuracy and completeness of Design and Trade Partner models
• Provide constructable solutions for coordination issues in the BIM process
• Train team members how to identify solutions for coordination issues in the BIM process
• Gap Model scopes of work and no-fly-zones that are required for spatial coordination
• Assemble Site Logistics Plans during Preconstruction and assist project team’s ongoing Logistics Planning.
• Use Revit to model and detail self-perform concrete work. This includes generating shop drawings, pour quantities, and layout points (for Total Station) for field crews.
• Assist the Total Station field layout and quality control process
• Prepare models for owner submission including embedding additional data for facilities management.
• Link models to construction schedules to analyze and communicate sequencing (4D)
• Manage CTI portion of project pursuits
• Manage, mentor, and help develop the careers of the CTI Team
• Evaluate and pilot new technologies to determine their potential to improve Truebeck’s current processes.
• Develop and maintain Truebeck’s standard BIM Execution Plan.
• Train project teams and operational groups how to use new technologies and/or workflows.
• Help maintain Truebeck’s culture of Innovation through training, sharing ideas, and recruiting forward thinking individuals.
• Any other task or duty as assigned or required
Knowledge, Education, and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Design or related field.
• Thorough understanding of building design, construction, scheduling, and preconstruction.
• Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage teams servicing internal or external clients by fostering knowledge sharing and innovation among team members.
• Able to clearly explain complex technology to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Understand contractual and legal guidelines of construction management and process
• Proven ability to work with senior level business leaders and navigate them through change.
• Understanding of complex MEPF systems
• 5 years relevant experience
Skills and Specifications
• Desire to improve processes, workflows, and uses of BIM/technology throughout the complete project lifecycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are requirements of this position.
• Able to exercise judgment and discretion as well as prioritize competing demands.
• Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity.
• Highly Proficient in the following tools: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 50 pounds.
Range of base pay is $120,000 - $140,000.
