Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a shift at a client site. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising a team of group leads and associates on multiple production lines, assigning and providing feedback on performance. Responsibilities include supervising a team of group leads and associates, overseeing shift performance metrics/KPIs in Production, Quality, and Safety, completing daily shift check-in and operations reporting, assisting in associate training/mentoring, and assisting the Production Manager in completing regular safety checks and accident reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment
- Lean, 5S experience required
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is highly desirable but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
This position offers a competitive salary range between $50,000 and $75,000 per year, based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including 6 paid holidays, 1 paid floating holiday and up to 20 days of Paid Time Off per year, Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Purchase Program, in addition to other programs and perks.
