Truebuilt Construction Inc. is an established and licensed General Contractor in Orange, California specializing in ground-up new construction throughout Southern California. We are seeking a team-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our Orange, CA office. Truebuilt Construction Inc. prides itself on an open-door employee culture that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, expediency, and efficiency. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for all vendor & subcontractor payables payment process and project compliance for all subcontractors and vendors.
Duties & Requirements;
- Responsible for processing the full cycle AP.
- Obtain approvals and coding invoices to the correct cost codes & entities.
- Handle research and potential discrepancies.
- Prepare and produce weekly check-runs.
- Vendor management and vendor reconciliation, verification of insurance and lien
releases
- Request all appropriate lien releases, joint checks issued to suppliers
Classification Summary:
Performs daily data entry and assists in a variety of accounting functions (i.e., accounts payable,). Involves daily use of QuickBooks to maintain financial records for all entities and construction. This position works towards keeping and verifying records of transactions; computing and verifying amounts; and maintaining supporting documentation. A keen eye to detail is a MUST.
Requirements for Position;
Management experience in accounting as well as analytical and communication skills is required. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented and proactive in assisting with accounting functions. Must have at least 5 years of accounting experience within the construction industry. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks accounting software. Knowledge and use with Bill.com is a plus.
