Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and have a strong understanding of fine dining service standards. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Experience in guest relations within nightlife settings is a plus but not required.
