Chief Executive Officer – Growing Commercial/Structural Construction Services Company-Private Equity
Our client is a highly profitable, private equity-sponsored Commercial/Structural Construction Services enterprise operating from multiple locations based in the Southeast.
The company is presently seeking a motivated and hands-on CEO to lead this expanding enterprise through substantial growth over the next 3-5 years. The primary objective will be to develop and execute a strategy of expansion into new markets while focusing on driving profitability, streamlining processes and continuing to build upon best-in-class service and execution.
We are seeking an experienced middle-market Commercial Services executive who can effectively deliver on the growth mandate and lead the advancement of all functions across this organization. The CEO will have full P&L ownership and will be responsible for establishing process, ramping up project delivery capabilities, ensuring accountability and integrating fulfilment across a multi-location acquisition base. They will be responsible for improving visibility across the entire organization, professionalizing all operations and driving significant organic and acquisitive growth initiatives. Ideally your experience will include leading a company where you are aligned with the cadence, goals and expectations of the equity stakeholders and will have ideally led an organization through a successful liquidity event.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling into both governmental entities (federal, state, municipalities) as well as private clients and general contractors. They will ideally come from a specialty contracting industry background, for example HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical installation, facilities maintenance, fire and security, commercial building, or infrastructure projects.
The CEO will be working directly with an experienced private equity partner and equity will be offered as part of the overall compensation incentive structure.
