Ability to:
- Effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.
- Effectively utilize an electronic medical record.
- Conceptualize processes and understand complexities across many roles within the agency.
- Prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to be very organized, detail-oriented, and work well under stress.
- Function effectively as a member of a team that may include behavioral health and primary care providers, consumers, and family members.
- Understand how trauma affects an individual and know effective ways to respond to individuals who have experienced
Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet. High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with medical billing and coding is preferred.
- 2 Year of experience with accounting or billing.
- Must be knowledgeable with multiple payers including commercial, state, and county.
