Human Resources Manager
The HR Manager role at Bar Bakers is a highly visible position with a wide scope of responsibility. In this role, you will be a business partner to site management and will have general oversight for all HR processes. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and have a variety of HR-related priorities, from front-line to strategic human resources duties. This position reports to our Human Resources Director. Key Responsibilities:
Manages all Human Resources activities such as employee relations, benefits, leaves of absence, new hire orientation and training.
Evaluates and makes recommendations for HR-related programs, policies, and procedures.
Maintains all personnel and payroll data.
Responsible for all payroll processing activities.
Evaluates employee relations and work-related problems and meets with supervisors and management to determine effective remediation techniques to resolve employee relations issues.
Provides support to managers in coaching and counseling employees.
Acts as the primary point of contact for employees with regard to all HR matters.
Conducts HR-related investigations.
Administers and evaluates the effectiveness of all health and welfare programs.
Recommends strategies to motivate and engage employees.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment including but not limited to I-9 employment eligibility, EEO, etc.
Must have extensive experience handling employee relations matters and possess the ability to handle these matters with confidence.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
5 years of experience in HR.
Must be forward-thinking and innovative.
Must be resilient and flexible.
Previous payroll data entry and processing experience.
Efficient HR administration and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent computer literacy in all MS Office programs.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize assignments based on urgency.
