We’re hiring a mid-level experienced Communications professional to join our growing Truist corporate communications team. The candidate will support our Teammate Communications team, working closely with Corporate Communications peers and business leaders to design and execute primarily internal teammate communication programs and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have diverse, results-oriented communications experience spanning internal communication channels (intranet, video, podcast, email), executive visibility, storytelling, social media engagement, and internal communications. The Communications Partner will work independently, applying sound judgement to materials and collaborate regularly with others in corporate communications, marketing, and relevant business functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and execute internal and external communications strategy for a business segment.
2. Develop proactive public relations to obtain positive media mentions on Truist products, services and purpose; leadership message development; spokesperson training; issues management; and internal communications at the segment level.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for line of business and function leaders.
4. Provide communications counsel to lines of business on product introductions and certain client-facing messages.
5. Collaborate with the social media team on messages and issues.
6. Deliver internal and external communications through various channels and news media.
7. Plan content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.
8. Create positive news to build the company's brand, advance our purpose, and promote our solutions and services.
9. Forge relationships with business leaders to gain knowledge, align communications objectives and goals with the business, and serve as a trusted consultative partner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
2. 5-7 years of related experience
3. Demonstrated corporate communications internal and external message development and project management
4. Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills
5. Proficiency in using communications technology, video production and mass communications techniques
6. Ability to negotiate within a team and influence others at peers
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or English
2. Works well under pressure.
3. Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency experience
