Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Influence and participate in the establishment of the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to increase revenue. Bring clear and independent advice to the overall planning process to avoid ad hoc investment products and savings.
- Development of the household balance sheet and cash flow analysis, to include long term planning for retirement income. Asset/liability management and review is key to overall client planning.
- Implement the use of goals-based planning tools to quantify clients' objectives by meeting with clients and identifying individualized goals. Benefits of planning at the household level include; assessing the viability of lifestyle expectations, explaining the links between assets, liabilities and lifestyle along with pre-retirement planning.
- Proficiently utilize firm-provided software that enables the officer to create, plan and provide ongoing updates.
- Lead and/or participate in client presentations and engagements centered on financial planning topics.
- Independently identify opportunities to refer clients for Estate and Financial planning that works in conjunction with goal-based planning tools.
- Work closely with the Financial Advisors and PCG Portfolio Management Officer to help the team devise the appropriate asset allocation based on clients' goals, cash flow, etc.
- Work closely with Product Managers to gain proficiency in focused areas of planning including social security, college planning, etc. Create client-facing materials addressing topics of interest.
- Update client profiles and plans frequently and conduct annual reviews with the Financial Advisor.
- Identify opportunities to attract more assets and offer additional Truist Bank products and services to the relationship as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Must have a proven track record in relationship management and client service.
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 66 (or 63/65) and insurance licenses.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office products
