Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for an Accounting Assistant. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, organized, and independent. This company offers a hard-working team, high visibility, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $55k.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide payroll processing activities for clients.
- Print and assemble income tax returns for delivery to the client.
- Schedule client appointments and employee meetings and order food as requested.
- Greet visitors, provide beverages, and direct them to seating.
- Open and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
- Maintain and order office supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Accounting Assistant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in accounting and/or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete projects timely and with minimal supervision.
- Industry related experience a plus.
- Strong Microsoft and QuickBooks experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
