Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 6 years of experience, organized, and excellent leadership skills. This company provides a great work/life balance, a collaborative team, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

The salary for this job is $130k – $160k.

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guides financial decisions by creating, monitoring, and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maximizes returns and minimizes risks through best practices, sound financial decision-making, and strategic planning.
• Prepares and manages budgets by setting schedules, analyzing financial data, recommending plans, and addressing variances.
• Provides insights into financial conditions and prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial trends and data.
• Maintains technical and professional expertise by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
• 6 years of relevant experience as well as leadership experience.
• High level of moral character and integrity.
• Experience in implementing accounting related software strongly preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
