Our client is an organization in the Greater Bay area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2 years of experience, analytical, and organized. This company offers competitive benefits, a collaborative team, and room for professional growth. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position is $70k - $120k.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and complete monthly journal entries related to inventory, fixed assets, liabilities, and other financial statement categories.
• Responsible for suite of financial reporting documents at month end.
• Develop expertise in general ledger components of internal ERP system.
• Liaise with external auditors for filing income tax returns and statutory audits. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Responsible for maintenance and adherence to internal controls.
• Provide support to other departments regarding financial information or requests.

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. CPA and/or CMA preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Construction or Manufacturing experience with an organization engaged in inventory conversion preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
