Senior Accountant (40502)
Our client is an organization in the Marathon area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 3 years of accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and high attention to detail. This company is family owned and continues to grow!
The salary range for this position is $70k-80k bonus.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile various General Ledger accounts using appropriate work papers and documentation.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries as required.
- Compile and analyze components of product cost to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain product cost build-ups within the inventory system.
- Record and reconcile production reports and inventory activity to ensure data integrity.
- Support physical inventory counts and oversee the cycle count program to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Record and reconcile Fixed Assets to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 3 years of accounting and tax experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
