What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Assistant -- Liberty Local Schools position at Trumbull County Educational Service Center?
POSITION:
- Intervention Assistant
- Full Time (7.5 hours per day, 4 days per week)
- Liberty High School, all grades
- Per negotiated agreement.
- Meet one of the following requirements for qualification as a paraprofessional (ESEA-Every Child Succeeds)
a) completion of 2 years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (48 semester or 72 quarter hours)
b) associate’s (or higher) degree from an accredited institute of higher education
b) associate’s (or higher) degree from an accredited institute of higher education
c) Educational Aide certification and/or the ability to obtain Educational Aide permit.
- Successful current BCI/FBI background checks.
- Work under the supervision of the High School Principal.
- Ability to perform work in accordance with job description.
- Additional training is required to work in preschool classrooms.
