Trumbull Industries, Inc. - a recognized leader in the distribution of commercial/residential plumbing, industrial PVF and kitchen cabinetry, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Product Development team as a Product Development Assistant for our Headquarters located in Warren, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the end-to-end product development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of high-quality products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
- Analyze data to provide insights that contribute to informed product development decisions.
- Assist in coordinating product development projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, design, and pricing, to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project timelines, milestones, and progress.
- Coordinate the creation of prototypes and samples for testing and evaluation.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality prototypes.
- Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual.
- Positive attitude with focus on service
- Team player with the ability to work closely with others within the organization
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to quickly learn internal order entry system
- Excellent oral communication skills a must
