Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalized service to all guests in the fine dining area.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after service while ensuring cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Handle cash register operations accurately during transactions when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or fine dining environments is required.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for members.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
