We are looking for committed, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy technology and are open to challenges. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will gain the unmatched experience of participating in the final stages of creating our products and working alongside the people who are working on the technologies for the markets of the future. This internship will be from May 2025 to December 2025 and the ideal candidate will be available for at least 32 hours a week.
Principle Roles & Responsibilities :
At TRUMPF, we never settle and believe there is always opportunity to become even better at what we do. The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will facilitate and lead continuous improvement projects for our manufacturing processes using Lean / Synchro methodologies. These projects include :
- Identify data-driven opportunities to improve our machine assembly process using analytical and technical knowledge.
- The LiftMaster Compact is the fastest and most compact loading and unloading unit in the TRUMPF portfolio. Work with our team to identify opportunities to improve key production metrics (labor rate, rework, lost time), while solving for root causes and facilitating sustainable change.
- Perform time studies in the assembly process of the TruArc Weld products, the LiftMaster Compact and our platform laser product.
Qualifications
Education
Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate's degree in a related field.
