As a Business Development Associate, you will serve as a consultant to Trupanion and be the exclusive representative for our pet health insurance product within your market. You will oversee the Long Island, NY Territory (Nassau & Suffolk counties) and build relationships with veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff to educate them on the benefits of having clients insured by Trupanion. Responsibilities
* Build and maintain a network of 60 Territory Partners across North America
* Develop and execute direct marketing strategies to increase hospital adoption of Trupanion's pet health insurance product
* Collaborate with veterinarians and their teams to educate them on the benefits of Trupanion's coverage
Qualifications
* Property and Casualty license in New York
* Strong business development and sales skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
