Role Description

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies targeting private sector members who align with our go to market strategies across our supplier portfolio.
  • Identify and target key members across our target market areas that align with TruPointe’s offerings and growth objectives.
  • Drive long-term sales growth by developing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and collaborative success.

Team Management and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers focused on GPO sales within the private sector.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and evaluate team performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Sales Execution:

  • Lead discussions, presentations, and proposals to our prospective and current membership, demonstrating the value of TruPointe’s solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of GPO members.
  • Drive contract renewals and extensions, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, forecasting sales and reporting on progress regularly.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the GPO space.
  • Use data and insights to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within private sector GPOs and adapt sales approaches to capitalize on new market demands.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns and materials that effectively target opportunities and key decision-makers.
  • Work with Partner Development and Revenue Operations teams to ensure our offerings meet the needs of our current and prospective members.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure a seamless post-sale experience and address any issues that arise.

Reporting and Performance Metrics:

  • Track and report on key sales metrics, including revenue, win rates, and market penetration within each member.
  • Provide regular updates and forecasts, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for growth.
  • Use HubSpot to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and opportunities.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales, with 3-5 years in a leadership role within GPO or B2B sales in the private sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and partnerships driving revenue growth.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, product) to deliver tailored solutions to members.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop sales talent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive sales strategy.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a deep understanding of GPOs and the private sector, who is passionate about driving growth, managing high-value relationships, and leading a team to success. The Sales Leader will have a significant impact on TruPointe’s market position and long-term success within the private sector space.

Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
