OneSparQ is looking for an experienced Cable Technician to join a Telecom company located in Suwanee, GA. This role will travel to project sites across greater Atlanta.
Required Skills:
3 years of experience as a Cable Technician
Strong experience with RJ45, RG6, coaxial, and Cat5/Cat6 cabling
Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, connections, termination and labelling in commercial/educational/healthcare environments
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Additionals Skills:
Experience with Programming security systems/fire alarms
Job Responsibilities:
Familiarity with data center racking and stacking procedures
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints and schematics
Must be able to build racks and terminate connections
Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing cable and connectivity issues
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the cabling and construction industry
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients
Day to day coordination with General Contractors
Flexibility to work on construction sites and adapt to changing project requirements
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
