Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and assist with managing our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy
- Manage accounts payables and entering bills
- Entering expenses from daily bank records
- Process accounts receivable and contacting customers with overdue invoices
- Reviewing and updating Sales Tax in multiple states
- Provide support in operations such as inventory, data entry and maintaining lists and
databases
Requirements:
- 2 years Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience preferred
- Proficiency in math and understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Windows operating system
