Job Description
We are seeking a GROWTH-ORIENTED DODD Program Manager/Business Manager DODD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) Specialist to join our non-medical home care team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence.
You responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our client base and managing support, and ongoing assessments for those already receiving our services.
The ideal candidate will have established relationships with one or more county DODD agencies ( Locus and Wood Counties). This candidate will conduct initial assessments, create customized care plans, and manage DSP employees to ensure a high quality of care and compliance with DODD standards.
Duties
- Proven experience of program development and management within the DODD, behavioral health or social work fields is required.
- Network and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with the SSAs of area county agencies.
- Perform an initial assessment of care needs and preferences for new clients.
- Follow the DODD requirements for developing, implementing, and maintaining individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular follow-up assessments and adjust care plans as needed to ensure clients receive optimal support.
- Coordinate with caregivers and other staff to ensure proper implementation of care plans.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, families, and support teams, addressing any concerns or changes in care requirements.
- Monitor compliance with DODD standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving targets.
- At least 2 years’ experience in, developmental disability services must be in a supervisory capacity.
- Have existing relationships within area county DODD agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and familiarity with DODD policies.
- Must have strong assessment, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in fast-paced situations.
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and case management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen;
- Must complete 40 hours of in-service training on an annual basis; a team environment.
Working Schedule:
- Monday - Friday with flexible hours to accommodate rare instances of night and weekend visits as needed.
Job Type: Full-time - Start part-time till the clientele number grows
Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 - based on experience
