What you'll do...
The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring and coordinating with field units to ensure seamless and efficient security operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail in managing personnel check-ins and check-outs, validating timesheets, and addressing urgent communications. Additionally, the Security Operations Specialist will manage security resources such as uniforms, equipment, and vehicles while providing essential support to management.
Day to day you’ll …
Monitor and Oversee Communications:
Manage and oversee communications with field units to ensure smooth operations and effective coordination.
Maintain active communication channels to respond promptly to security incidents and personnel inquiries.
Personnel Check-ins and Check-outs:
Conduct accurate and timely check-ins and check-outs for security personnel at various sites.
Ensure all post-sign-in sign-out sheets are kept updated. Track and report personnel availability and assignments to management.
Time Management and Validation:
Verify guard time in Paylocity with meticulous attention to detail to ensure payroll accuracy.
Thoroughly track, validate, and reconcile guard timesheets for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure schedule utilization and monitor overtime. Upload verified sign-in sign-out sheets to SharePoint.
Handle Incoming Calls:
Professionally manage and prioritize incoming calls from security personnel and clients, ensuring urgent matters are addressed promptly.
Log Maintenance:
Maintain detailed logs of all communications and dispatch actions for future reference and audits.
Resource Management:
In a backup capacity, issue and document security uniforms.
Coordinate periodic inventory checks to ensure resources are available and in good condition.
Support to Management:
Provide timely and informative support to management, including reporting on field operations and quality or performance issues.
Technology Utilization:
Utilize advanced computer systems and software, including Paylocity and surveillance tools, for operational monitoring and communication purposes.
Administrative Duties:
Perform other necessary administrative tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the security team.

Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
Proven experience in security operations or a related field.
Familiarity with managing security personnel and operational logistics.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with computer systems, particularly ADP and surveillance software.
Strong ability to use communication and reporting tools effectively.
Key Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tracking and reporting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with personnel, clients, and management.

Valid driver’s license for delivery duties and field support.
Pay Rate Information
The pay rate for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Pay Rate: $18.70/hour

Schedule: 05:00 PM - 1:30 AM
