Trustar Bank is currently seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who will design, create and deliver marketing and communications programs to support the expansion and growth of the Bank services and products. The Marketing and Communications Manager will follow all established policies and procedures of the Bank.

Trustar Bank is currently seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who will design, create and deliver marketing and communications programs to support the expansion and growth of the Bank services and products. The Marketing and Communications Manager will follow all established policies and procedures of the Bank.
Summary of Job Duties will include but not limited to:
Corporate:
- Create and develop marketing plan for future growth to include the categories below.
- Source data and create reports regarding initiatives, social media, products, etc.
- Manages marketing budget spreadsheet while updating daily, adhering to the Board approved annual budget.
- Responsible for gathering product materials about competitive companies in our field.
- Draft communications with Bank stakeholders and clients.
- Creates, organizes, maintains, revises, and delivers marketing materials such as promotions, flyers, presentations, articles, etc. to the public and staff as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to create and order marketing supplies, brochures, etc.
- Custom content creation for Bank social media accounts with active postings.
- Maintain Bank and affiliate websites for content, compliance and partner edits.
- Work with internal partners to leverage Mobile Banking marketing opportunities
- Development of draft advertising layouts and text for marketing materials and presentation to management for approval and review.
- Initiate and/or support Bank sales campaigns by identifying opportunities, providing supporting collateral, tracking results, etc
- Draft and implement e-based marketing campaign for management consideration
- Arranges preparatory meetings for trade shows, seminars and events.
- Primary contact for sponsorship inquiries and coordination of approved programs, ensuring that sponsorships are completed before presenting to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage Bank and Foundation events/fundraising and all supporting details.
- Manages the effective communication of the Bank with the public and maintains the Company's favorable public image through social media, public events, and other media.
- Preparation of press releases, website updates and event announcements as needed.
- Participate in public events as an extension of the Bank brand and business development efforts.
- Must possess strong writing and grammatical skills and the ability to interpret financials to tell a story.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills including skills to handle many assignments simultaneously.
- Work efficiently under pressure and firm deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.
- Exhibit great creativity and resourcefulness.
- Excellent effectual communication skills are required as well as having equally effective people skills to work with clients. Excellent problem-solving skills necessary.
- Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, while understanding new technologies.
- Strong copyright skills and ability to rework technical aspects for a broad range of audience.
- Strong research skills to acquire market information and answer questions from team of managers, members, clients and public.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism in conduct and appearance while creating an approachable and collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Highly self-motivated individual, competent, energetic, and creative. Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations or another field required.
- Prior experience in banking highly preferred.
- Minimum of five years' experience in Marketing, customer relations, event planning or combination thereof is required.
- Strong writing skills are required.
- Strong social media experience and acumen.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
- Strong working skills in WordPress, Canva and social media channels.
