Contract Review for New Products Development
Propose alternative AMS material requirements
Understand heat treatment behaviors of hi-temp alloys and define qualification stock.
Layout process methods in MRP/MES Knowledge preferably JobBoss
Fixture and tooling design using solid works/ AUTOCAD.
Review configuration Stage Drawing including Pre-out stage
Knowledge of in-house finishing and outside surface treatment effects on our in-house machining and Incorporate them with cautious back up plan.
Understand tighter tolerance requirements along with part configuration and plan the methods accordingly.
Provide input for complex and high value RFQ's and review before submittal.
Close contract review to finalize process and create master templates
Review NCMR/MRB on daily basis to work on root causes and provide Preventive and Corrective Action.
Address Supplier and customer technical queries and liaison in-house Drawing Interpretation for quality and Production personnel conflicts.
Quantitative measurable :
Responsible for NPD development within targeted lead time and quoted lead time with less number of iterations.
At least 2 process improvements per month.
Less than 2 Engineering errors per month
More than 95% 1st yield passes.
Qualitative benefits:
Best practices on CAM programming to avoid multiple iterations.
Perform effective PFMEA to meet tight tolerances and made accountable for 1st yield passes.
