What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Home Health Aide position at Trusted Ally Home Care?
We are seeking to add part-time, caring Home Health Aides to our team to provide 1:1 patient care in the Brighton, CO area. This position requires availability for 12 hours per week, Wednesday through Friday, with shifts from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the home setting.
- Accompany patients to doctor’s appointments or hospital visits.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs (temperature, respiration, etc.) and report any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate patient care records and document provided services.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Counsel and instruct patients and families on diet and exercise.
- Collect routine specimens as directed.
- Provide companionship and offer basic emotional or psychological support.
Requirements:
- Compassionate and reliable individual with a passion for patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in home health care or related fields preferred but not required.
