Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to lead our wonderful clinical teams! In this role, you will assist the Director of Clinical Services in helping ensure the highest quality of nursing care is provided to patients in a home health setting. The Regional DON will play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and contributing to the continuous improvement and development of nursing policies and procedures.
Major Functions:
- Lead, Manage, Drive Accountability: Provide leadership, mentorship, and management to current field staff
- Clinical Quality and Compliance Assurance: Assist with the development and application of nursing services, objectives, and policies and procedures in accordance with Federal and State Home Health regulations.
- Patient and Employee Satisfaction: perform hands on care as needed including hybrid role of direct patient care, on-call rotation, and addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Clinical Patient Acquisition from Business Development: manage clinical operations and assist in onboarding of new patients, developing care plans, and comprehensive assessments
- Interdepartmental Collaboration, Partnership, and Team Building: Assist the Director of Clinical Services with the overall clinical direction and operation of the Colorado, New Mexico, Texas locations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN: Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred
- Must hold compact active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 3-4 years of nursing experience required; at least 4 years of experience in home health, nursing leadership, or a related field strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards concerning home health services with Department of Labor a plus

- This position requires 25-35% regional travel between Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas markets

- We offer a compensation of $110,000-$130,000 base salary
