- This travel nursing assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity Medical Telemetry unit. ">
- The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse and 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. ">
- A strong background in Epic is preferred, but not required. ">
Responsibilities

- The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to patients with chest pain, CAD, DM, PVD, COPD exacerbation, COVID, TIA, stroke, HTN, Afib, Aflutter, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, rhythm management with cardiac drips, wound infection, cellulitis, GI bleed. ">
- They will also perform special procedures such as pre & post angiogram/angioplasty- no sheath pulls, PPM/AICD, LINQ recorder, general surgical procedures, EGD, colonoscopy, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, wound debridement, Chest tube, central line catheter insertions, thoracentesis, paracentesis Post Cath, Cardiac drips. ">
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias is a must. ">
Requirements

- Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license. ">
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility. ">
