**Experience:• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Nurse Educator experience is required from last 12 years.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Travelers may float at any time between units and mid-shift to meet the needs of the patients and Client Facilities.
Facilities are not accepting holiday RTO at this time - no holiday RTO requests will be allowed for submission. You can discuss with leadership once onsite for consideration.
Must be able to start within 4 weeks of receiving an offer.
No block scheduling requests.
Candidate needed to oversee (AHGL, AHSV) locations in the Southern California area.
Shift: Monday through Friday, with hours that fluctuate to meet the requirements of the Perioperative departments (OR, PACU, Pre-Op, GI Lab).
Typically, the start time is around 8 AM, with an early start once a week at 7 AM to attend the morning huddle. There may also be occasional weekend shifts to support per-diem staff.
The educator will need to coordinate and teach classes for the Perioperative departments and manage competencies. They will be working closely with the unit leaders.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred.
Master's Degree in Nursing: Preferred.
RQI certification accepted.
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required.
Maximum days off: 5 days
2 references from any number of months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
