Job description

We are a home care agency looking for an experienced and organized Office Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in coordinating and recruiting activities, as well as performing receptionist duties and opening and closing the office to ensure the smooth operation of our agency. The position is in office Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Small office environment with growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming calls and take messages as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in coordinating daily operations of the agency
  • Assist in recruitment activities such as screening, and on-boarding new hires
  • Maintain clock in and outs and find cover when staff request time off
  • Manage and organize documents, files, and records
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about the agency's services
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes
  • Maintain and update client and employee databases
  • Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, sending emails, ordering supplies, and opening and closing the office
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have 6 or more months of Home Care Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the home care industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Speak Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
