ABOUT THE ROLE
As the part-time IT and People Support Specialist, you play a vital role in helping employees stay up & running with their technology, as well as keeping our San Carlos office running in tip-top shape! This role is part of a Global IT team focusing on in-office support, asset management, and delivering world-class employee support.

- Support the North America Trustly team as the main POC for all IT needs & troubleshooting
- Manage the IT onboarding process for NA new hires as needed
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace IT equipment as needed
- Monitor and update IT policies & documentation aligned with the AMER IT team as needed
- Maintain all office space including the meeting room equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly fashion
- Ensure a positive and efficient office experience for all team members including regular in-office employees and remote employees visiting the CA office
- Organize and maintain general tidiness of IT office equipment
- Manage the offboarding process for NA employees as needed
- Support the implementation of new solutions or apps in our environment always looking to improve and make things streamlined
- Shipping and managing AV equipment for in-person company offsite meetings (including travel onsite)
- Install, support, and provide routine maintenance to all in-office hardware and software, such as WiFi, Mac, and AV Equipment
- Manage shipping and receiving of office equipment; including visits to FedEx as needed
- Oversee the collection and distribution of the mail at least 3 days a weekProvide top-tier customer support by answering general employee questions in our ticket system or through Slack
- You are a driven, curious, tech-savvy individual who is dedicated to a positive employee experience. 1 years of experience in a technical support role
- Mac and macOS knowledge. Windows knowledge is a plus!
- Experience working with Google Workspace and Slack
- AV Tech troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting & responding to WiFi or other simple networking questions
- Experience with employee onboarding including top-tier service and training a plus!
- Experience managing equipment lifecycle processing or recycling
- Experience with FedEx shipping is a plus!
- Must have strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills - a considerable amount of independence is needed for this job as you'll primarily work alone in the office while representing the Global IT team
- Have a tremendous Team-Oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems!
- Have the willingness to solve complicated problems, give out-of-the-box solutions & see projects through to completion
- Have the ability to manage time & effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time
- Ability to travel 1-2x per year for offsite meetings
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs to manage shipping & receiving new hire equipment
- Ability to work 25 hours per week in the San Carlos, CA Office
Hourly Rate: $30 - $34 USD per hour
Hours: 25 hours (3-4 days) per week in the San Carlos, CA office
