What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Billing Coordinator position at TrustPoint International, LLC?
Trustpoint is excited to partner with a nationally respected Am Law 200 firm in their search of a Legal Billing Coordinator on a direct hire basis. This primarily remote role will require in office attendance during the initial training period. Successful candidates will have 4 years of experience with billing in a law firm and live a commutable distance from Philadelphia or Chesterbrook, PA for training purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of billing cycle for assigned attorneys
- Compils and bill attorney hours to clients every month
- Review and edit pre-bills in response to attorney and secretary requests
- Conduct billing analysis and resolve billing disputes
- Collaborate with and instruct new attorneys in billing procedures
- Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems
- Maintain and implement billing and special fee matrices
- Create and print final client billing
- Client and matter database management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4 years' of billing experience in a law firm; experience with E-billing
- E-billing experience required; experience with Bill Blast (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Advanced organizational, written and verbal communication, and detail-oriented skills
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
