What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Paralegal position at Trustpoint.One?
Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a Fortune 500 Company in its search for a Marketing Paralegal to support its busy and growing team. This is a hybrid, part-time opportunity (approximately 30 hours per week) out of the company’s Atlanta, GA offices. This is a contract role, expected to last approximately 12-18 months with a strong potential for permanent conversion for the right candidate!
The Marketing Paralegal will report to Senior Legal Counsel but will also be mentored by the company’s experienced paralegals. The Marketing Paralegal will primarily review customer marketing materials and submissions and perform other duties as needed to support a team on a global scale. While the Paralegal will be trained on the Company’s policies, the Paralegal is otherwise expected to successfully work independently.
Qualifications of the Marketing Paralegal include but are not limited to:
- 4 years of experience as a transactional paralegal or similar experience; marketing experience within a legal setting is desired;
- Additional experience with advertising claims substantiation or alcohol regulation is desired but not required;
- Ability to work independently without significant oversight;
- Strong and concise communication skills;
- Ability to be in office at least 3 days a week including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (flexible on reporting times). Ability to commit the necessary hours per week and show commitment for the duration of the contract assignment, with potential for conversion;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to take a proactive approach to the work;
- Ability to handle confidential materials with professionalism;
- Strong technological skills;
- Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree with a Paralegal Studies Certificate from an ABA approved program.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
Pay range: $40 - $70/hour, commensurate with experience.
This position is open because the prior Marketing Paralegal was promoted internally.
