What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bankruptcy and Litigation Coordinator position at Trustpoint?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Litigation Case Manager at Trustpoint. In this position, you will provide critical support to the firm's litigation practice in bankruptcy and other areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling travel arrangements and monitoring upcoming court appearances
- Draft and prepare various legal documents, including briefs and pleadings, for both electronic and traditional filing
- Provide case management support and track litigation cases
- Enter attorney time records using firm software and maintain the attorney diary system
- Answer phone calls, screen messages, direct or take messages, schedule depositions, meetings, and appointments
- Maintain and manage file systems according to firm guidelines
- Document and enter expense reimbursements
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in litigation support; experience in bankruptcy is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in court filings, including electronic filing and traditional methods
- Able to generate table of contents (TOC) and table of authorities (TOA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional
- Able to communicate effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Able to prioritize workflow and manage cases/projects efficiently
- Able to work at a computer screen for extended periods
