Trustpoint is partnering with a national law firm to find a qualified Bankruptcy and Litigation Coordinator. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your skills and experience to support the firm's litigation practice in bankruptcy and other areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling travel arrangements and monitoring upcoming court appearances
- Draft and prepare various legal documents, including briefs and pleadings, for both electronic and traditional filing
- Provide case management support and track litigation cases
- Enter attorney time records using firm software and maintain the attorney diary system
- Answer phone calls, screen messages, direct or take messages, schedule depositions, meetings, and appointments
- Maintain and manage file systems according to firm guidelines
- Document and enter expense reimbursements
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
Key Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in litigation support; experience in bankruptcy is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in court filings, including electronic filing and traditional methods
- Able to generate table of contents (TOC) and table of authorities (TOA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional
- Able to communicate effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Able to prioritize workflow and manage cases/projects efficiently
- Able to work at a computer screen for extended periods
