The Title Recorder plays a critical role in ensuring that completed real estate transactions are properly recorded with the appropriate county or jurisdiction. This position requires precision, familiarity with recording requirements across multiple counties or states, and a strong sense of responsibility to maintain the integrity of each file.
Key Responsibilities:
Review executed closing documents for completeness and accuracy
Prepare and submit documents for e-recording and mail-away filings
Track recording confirmations and update internal systems accordingly
Communicate with county offices to resolve issues or follow up on delayed recordings
Maintain proper file documentation and ensure compliance with state and company guidelines
Support post-closing team with document processing as needed Handle returned or rejected recordings and re-submit as necessary
