Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Assist the Human Resource Department with interpretation for Spanish Speaking employees during the recruiting and onboarding process. Will work as on the Production floor when not assisting in HR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding new hires
- Conduct New Hire Orientation
- Conduct pre-employment and post-accident drug tests
- Assist in company engagement activities and functions
- Help employees with questions or concerns
- Update company communication avenues
- Projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Associate degree is preferred, but not required
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Skill in multitasking and time management
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
- Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
- Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to reach, touch, grasp
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push
- Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
- Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
- Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds
