Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, and other advanced interventions.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs.
- Collect lab specimens and conduct health screenings.
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Supervise and train other LVNs/LPNs as needed.
- Contribute to infection control and quality assurance initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas LVN/LPN license.
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience (2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in advanced nursing skills (gastrostomy tubes, enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Additional Details:
- Approximate start dates: 1st and 15th of each month.
- Minimum 6-month contract.
- This position requires every other weekend availability on both Saturday and Sunday.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
