Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Northern California. The ideal candidate will:
- Have 5-10 years of experience and an Associate Degree in Electronics.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in working with low voltage systems.
- Be capable of running cables, installing electronics, and ensuring systems function correctly.
- Exhibit flexibility in schedule and willingness to travel between job sites using a personal vehicle (*mileage reimbursed*).
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Technician, you will:
- Work with Coax Systems and Low Voltage/Composite Cabling.
- Perform terminations for Voice and Data using color coordination.
- Handle technical services such as:
- Cat6 and Cat5e cabling
- Installation of patch panels
- Overhead paging systems
- Troubleshooting TVs
- Operating in hospital settings
- Perform expert installation and maintenance of low voltage systems, including nurse call systems, overhead paging, telecommunications networks, and TV systems.
- Skillfully run and connect wiring and cables for low-voltage electronics systems.
- Accurately interpret blueprints and other guides to configure complex wiring setups.
- Organize, label, and maintain systematic documentation of lines and connections.
- Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot various low-voltage systems with precision.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide clients with thorough instructions on how to operate systems after installation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work completed on each project.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Electronics or related field.
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
- Ability to:
- Run cables, install electronics, and handle system configurations.
- Troubleshoot nurse call systems, TV cable installations, and PA systems.
- Reliable personal vehicle for job site travel (*mileage reimbursed*).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt schedule to project and client needs.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
