Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Electronics and experience working with low voltage systems. This role involves running cables, installing electronics, and ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain low voltage systems, including alarm systems, security systems, and telecommunications networks.
- Run and connect wiring and cables for low-voltage electronics systems.
- Use blueprints and other guides to configure the wiring.
- Organize and label lines.
- Test and troubleshoot various low-voltage systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on electronics.
- Instruct clients on how to use the systems once installed.
- Document work done on each project.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
- Ability to run cables and install electronics.
- Knowledge of nurse call systems, TV cable installations, and PA systems.
- Must have a personal vehicle for travel between job sites (mileage will be reimbursed).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
