Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Monitor computer systems and networks to ensure efficient operations and resolve any emerging technical problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems to align with business needs.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system updates for future reference.
- Create and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to maintain data integrity.
- Support various software applications and ensure consistent enterprise connectivity for mobile devices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to address and resolve complex support issues.
- Provide one-on-one technical training to end-users when needed.
Experience and Skills Requirements
Education:
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience). Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Microsoft/Office 365 platform.
- Experience supporting hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and end-users.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges.
Additional Information
- This position will primarily involve in-office responsibilities in Kennebunk, with some remote work flexibility based on tasks and scheduling.
- On-call rotation may be required for after-hours system support.
