Job Summary
As a Video Editor at TSEG, you will play a key role in creating compelling, high-converting video content for digital advertising campaigns, with a strong emphasis on legal marketing. Reporting to the Director of Paid Media, you will work closely with the Operations and Sales teams to develop engaging video assets that align with campaign objectives and drive performance. A background in graphic design is a plus, as this role may also involve designing static creatives for social media ads, display ads, and other digital formats.
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Production
- Edit engaging, high-quality video ads optimized for paid media platforms, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and display networks.
- Implement motion graphics, typography, and animations to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
- Optimize video pacing, structure, and visual effects to align with advertising best practices and maximize engagement.
- Source and edit stock footage, b-roll, AI, and other visual elements to create polished final products.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video assets.
- Write engaging scripts to compliment videos.
- Hire UGC and Spokesperson, direct feedback for iterations and edit final content to use within advertisements.
Graphic Design (Bonus Skillset)
- Design static creatives, thumbnails, and display ads that align with video campaigns.
- Assist in branding efforts by ensuring cohesive design across video and graphic content.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Operations team to align creative assets with campaign goals and performance metrics.
- Partner with the Sales team to clarify creative requests, refine messaging, and deliver high-quality videos on time.
- Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring alignment on creative strategies and expectations.
Performance Optimization
- Analyze performance metrics and user engagement to iterate and optimize video creatives for better results.
- Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in video marketing.
- Actively seek feedback and ask insightful questions to refine creative approaches.
Alignment with Ethical Advertising Practices
- Adhere to compliance guidelines in legal marketing, ensuring all creative materials maintain professionalism and accuracy.
Deadline & Project Management
- Manage project timelines, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
- Provide clear updates on project status, feasibility, and roadblocks.
Other Responsibilities
- Conduct campaign research to inform creative strategies and messaging.
- Assist with basic copywriting for video captions, headlines, and on-screen text.
- Participate in quarterly goal-setting and contribute to team success.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools
- Understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising best practices.
- Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, composition, and audience engagement.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
